Jessica Simpson shows off curves in figure-hugging dress

Jessica Simpson tested her dress to its limits last night as she partied in New York.

The 29-year-old singer and actress was showing off her curves at the 125th anniversary bash for Good Housekeeping magazine in New York City Center. Simpson, who was a wearing Matthew Williamson bandeau dress, recently spoke about embracing her figure in her reality series The Price Of Beauty.

"I'm not ever going to be size 0, and I don't want to weigh 90 pounds.

"I think we're all beautiful. I love my curves."
Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow?

Jessica Simpson used to be so fly. Just a few days ago, she was rocking some awesome hair on Twitter and The Price of Beauty. But boy, did she lay a serious egg at Good Housekeeping's 125th anniversary partywith the dullest, most lifeless locks in a long time.

WTH, girl. You and Ken in a fight? Maybe our standards are a little too high, but we expect cute and/or chic styles in Jessica Simpson pictures, not run of the mill stuff like this.

The Price of Jessica Simpson

During the VH1 premier of Jessica Simpson's The Price of Beauty, the songstress, better known for her glorious malaprops than for her music, found herself in Thailand, seated before an orange-robed Buddhist monk and flanked by her hairdresser Ken Paves and her best friend CaCee Cobb.

On a mission to learn what makes women in different cultures feel beautiful, the Ambassadors of Aesthetics have traveled to Bangkok, where they, predictably, shriek after munching on fried bugs, board an elephant in inappropriately-heeled footwear,
and visit a woman whose zealous use of fade cream to bleach her skin to the pale hue prized in Thai culture has resulted in a Michael Jackson-esque splotchy complexion

"I Don't Brush My Teeth!"

Wonder how Jessica Simpson maintains her million-dollar smile?

So does she. "I don't brush my teeth," she told iheartradio Thursday. "No, really!".

"I just use Listerine -- and sometimes I'll use my sweater," she claimed, bursting into laughter.

"I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful. Fine, maybe when I'm 60 I'll all, "ow!"
The singer adds that she loves "anything fried," and that her nutrition habits weren't always the best. "Growing up in Texas for me, fish was a fish stick. We weren't really the healthiest of people. [My mom] didn't force me to eat healthy."

Simpson, 29, opened up yet again about her ex John Mayer's raunchy comments regarding their sex life. "Maybe in his mind he was thinking about giving me a compliment but he wasn’t," she quipped.

Don't Change for Anyone!

The singer and reality star has had her fair share of highs and lows and now she is sharing her wisdom with female fans.

It's no secret that Jessica Simpson has had more than her fair share of failed romances, including a divorce from Nick Lachey in 2006 and very public break-ups from Tony Romo and John Mayer. But the VH1's "Price of Beauty" star still believes her Mr. Right is out there – and even has some tips for other ladies who too are lost in the love world.

“It’s important for women not to find their confidence in a man. I think you really have to know who you are before you can truly fall in love and give your all, and I don’t think a man can define you. You have to own that,” Simpson told Pop Tarts in an exclusive interview.

“So if you’re ever with anyone who says you should change something about yourself then they should never fall in love with you in the first place.”

Jessica Simpson pours water up her nose, burps

No, this isn't just Jessica Simpson being weird and random again - it's actually a legit beauty treatment!

As part of her new show The Price Of Beauty, Jessica travelled to Mumbai with BFFS Ken Paves and CaCee Cobb to try out some of the world's wackiest beauty therapies.
So far she has eaten fried worms, poured oil over her hair, drank unusual 'digestive' drinks... and yep, turned her head upside down and poured water up her nose with a teapot.

This particular practice is derived from Ayurveda medicine, which has been practised in India for over 5,000 years.

Caught in the Act!

Jessica Simpson's weight paranoia

Jessica Simpson has admitted she was paranoid about people talking about her when she was out in public after being criticised for her weight.

The 29-year-old, who hit the headlines last year when she appeared to have gained a few pounds, is starring in a new show - Jessica Simpson's The Price Of Beauty - which examines people's efforts to measure up their society's standard of beauty.

Jessica said: "You can't walk anywhere without thinking, 'I wonder if they think I'm fat .... I wonder if they've read that story, I couldn't help it - and I think that once I realised it wasn't going to stop, I had to find a way to accept it, and I had to find a way to use it."
Jessica travels the globe with two friends, hair stylist Ken Paves and former assistant Cacee Cobb, in the new show with the goal of empowering women to accept themselves.

Jessica and her friends meet a woman in Thailand who burned herself permanently from bleaching her skin lighter, and they talk with a former Paris model who starved herself to under 100 pounds to be thin.

"I'm very vulnerable on the show. I'm very open. I don't have anything to hide," Jessica said. "I want people to know I am just a normal girl that faces normal issues just like everyone else."

Jessica Simpson addicted to chess

Singer Jessica Simpson, who has been rumoured to be dating singer Billy Corgan, has become addicted to chess after he taught her how to play. They like to take on each other on a regular basis.

"He taught her how to play and was surprised at how quickly she got the hang of it, but she is yet to beat him," femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

Corgan recently revealed he "loves" Simpson but refused to comment further about their relationship.
"If I go, 'Oh, we're just friends,' then it's like, 'Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?' It has nothing to do with any of that. Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that," said Corgan.

"My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It's really simple," he added.

PETA gets snakey on Jessica Simpson's fashion

Jessica Simpson has been targeted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing snakeskin.

The singer-and-actress – who was recently photographed wearing a bag, jacket and shoes all made from animal skin – has been sent a video by the animal rights group urging her to change her ways and stop wearing outfits made from lizards, alligators and snakes.
In the video, actor Joaquin Phoenix says: "Did you know that mother snakes keep their eggs warm by wrapping their bodies around the eggs and then shivering to generate heat? Exotic animals are mostly unknown to us, and so is what they suffer before being turned into belts and bags?"

essica Simpson Gives You A View

Ever since Jessica Simpson has come to grips with her slightly softer body, she’s been covering up the goods every chance she gets. So these pictures of her showing off some cleavage while she trips over someone’s dog are a little better. This is a clever trick that more paparazzi should work on, train a c
This is a clever trick that more paparazzi should work on, train a cute little doggie to walk in front of various busty celebrities and wait for the cleavage to spill out. It would also work well with a properly trained child.
