Jessica Simpson covers her growing bump in a cosy poncho

Pregnant Jessica Simpson brought a new meaning to the word swell as she stepped out for a spot of shopping.

The singer – who has a successful clothing and accessories line under her belt – dressed her growing bump in green poncho, and looked positively blooming.

The 31-year-old accompanied her NFL player husband on a day out in Santa Barbara, California, as the pair enjoyed spending some quality time together over the Christmas holidays.
The blonde wore comfortable black leggings and high wedge shoes with the fastenings loosely buckled.

Jessica’s green turtleneck jumper produced a tent-like effect on her burgeoning bump as she took a romantic stroll with her 32-year-old sportsman partner.

The pair - who are expecting their first child in Spring and planning to get hitched afterwards - looked happy as they held hands and chatted throughout the Boxing Day trip.

Jessica Simpson''s Personal Jewellery Collection

Singer-actress Jessica Simpson says her new jewellery collection reflects her personality and she is proud of the line.

The ''Blonde Ambition'' star, who is currently pregnant with her first child, has designed an accessories line for Zales stores and says she was involved in every part of the process, reported Contactmusic.

"This collection has allowed me to create pieces that truly reflect who I am. The pieces can become a keepsake for life," she said.

The collection - which features earrings, rings and bracelets and more - includes a variety of butterfly-shaped designs based on the star''s handwriting.
Earlier this month, Jessica and her sister Ashlee launched their girls'' clothing line, which is a reflection of both their styles. She has also signed a deal for a maternity line and will also design girls'' footwear.

Very Pregnant Jessica Simpson Steps Out In Santa Barbara

Quick, take out the cameras! It's Jessica Simpson and her baby bump again. The always-put-together singer wore a chunky green turtleneck sweater that barely concealed her swelling baby bump for her walk in Santa Barbara with fiance Eric Johnson over the holidays.

The very pregnant star recently made news for reportedly inking a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers that would require Simpson to pull a Jennifer Hudson and slim down post-baby.
Simpson, whose fluctuating weight has been well-documented by the press, also delayed her wedding with her NFL beau from November until after she gives birth, in the spring.

Jessica Simpson's Baby Photos Likely Will Not Be Worth Millions

Jessica Simpson took forever to announce she's pregnant, but will she be seeing the big bucks from celebrity magazines once the kid is born? Probably not. It seems like the baby picture bubble has burst, and it's unlikely that celebrities will ever again be paid in the high six or seven figures for photographs of their spawn.

In "Celebrity Inc.: How Famous People Make Money," I write how the bull market for baby pictures raged strong through the mid-2000s, and how Hollywood's newest stars -- celebrity babies -- found themselves at the center of multi-million dollar bidding wars.

But like the bull market from the 2000s, this too came to an end -- bad news for celebs who chose to procreate after the market collapsed, like Simpson and new mom Mariah Carey. There's simply not much money left in selling off baby pictures, so if Simpson wants to cash in, she might be out of luck
"Jessica isn't as relevant as she used to be," said "Cult of Celebrity" author Cooper Lawrence. "She's making shoes now. Her baby daddy [fiancé Eric Johnson] isn't famous enough for anyone who doesn't know her personally to care, and the trend of celebrity baby photos is done for the consumer as well. Let us know if when the kid is 10 it has its first kiss with Mason Kardashian [sic]. Then we'll talk."

HollywoodLife.com Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller agrees that it's likely Simpson won't even make six figures for baby photos.

"Simpson will be able to make a sale, but I doubt it will be a six-figure sale," she said. "If I was her, I'd appreciate the fact that I've got a billion-dollar fashion business and I would tweet the pictures to all my fans and not use my baby as a sales tool. She'll amass far more good will that way. Or, she can shoot a beautiful photo with an agency and give it to AP. Being accessible is the new name of the game."

But that wasn't always the game, as I write about in "Celebrity, Inc."

Editors of celebrity weekly magazines later told me it was a little like a drug deal -- the day they were led into a dark office and shown the first pictures of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, premiere biological spawn of movie stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and asked to place bids. The question posed to the editors was deceptively simple and impossible to answer with any confidence: How much were these photos worth?

The answer: A lot. People magazine reportedly shelled out $3.1 million for the first look at little Shiloh, setting the bar pretty high, but it proved that magazines were willing to pay for baby photos and that celebrities were more than happy to to accept.

In 2008, Nicole Richie secured a reported $1 million for photos of her daughter, and photos of Christina Aguilera's son cost a reported $2 million -- both paid for by People.

For magazines, one celebrity baby is good, but two babies are even better.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony pocketed a reported $6 million from People for the first photos of twins Max and Emme in 2008.

And then came the Jolie-Pitt twins:

If the Shiloh photos were like a street drug, Pitt and Jolie's twins were medicinal-grade heroin mixed with crack for magazine editors. Everyone in the business scrambled to figure out how badly they would have to blow the editorial budgets for the remaining issues of that year just to get hold of those pictures. At the end of the day, only OK! and People seemed to have enough cash to make formidable offers. Each publication had separate motivations. OK! was struggling to stay competitive in the American market, and People believed it was struggling to stay on top.

After more than a week of negotiations with Getty, which followed the same procurement process as for the Shiloh pictures, People won domestic rights for the pictures with a reported payment of $7 million. It was estimated that in total, including the sale of international rights, Pitt and Jolie received $14 million for the photographs introducing young Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon to the world.

Then it was over just as quickly as it started.

In 2011, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon accepted just six figures from Life & Style for not one, but three photo spreads -- one of Carey while pregnant, and two first photos of the Grammy-winning singer with her twins.

Hardly pocket change, of course, but the days of $7 million baby photos are gone. Thanks to the Internet, which makes yesterday's news seem ancient, no one enjoys an exclusive on anything long enough to pay seven figures for it.

Jessica Simpson's Weight Watchers deal

The singer-and-actress is currently expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson but before she fell pregnant, she had been in talks with the dieting firm to become its new face after gaining a few pounds.

But Jessica, 31, will now highlight her weight loss by following Weight Watchers' healthy eating plan when she gives birth early next year.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She had been set to sign with them, but then she got pregnant. So this was the perfect compromise."

Under the contract, Jessica would reportedly have one year to use the point-counting system to "lose a significant amount of weight".
Jessica - who had a star-studded baby shower at her Hollywood home over the weekend - recently revealed she was "bigger than ever" but was loving showing off her new figure.

She said: "I like wearing things more fitted. You want to show off your bump! It's just so fun. You don't want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town."

"I'm definitely bigger than I've ever been [but I've] never felt so connected with my body in my life."

Jessica Simpson: ‘Pregnancy Is A Friend Of Mine’

Jessica Simpson’s first pregnancy has been a breeze — so far.

“I feel great, I honestly do,” the 31-year-old star told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on Tuesday.

“Pregnancy is a friend of mine, so everything has been running smoothly,” Jessica, who was promoting her new Beauty Mint skincare line, continued. “So far, so good – no morning sickness. I feel great. I’m tired, but you know, I’m making a baby here!”

The mom-to-be did reveal a few changes that have happened to her body, saying she’s had “swelling in the belly and boob area.”

Jessica – who announced her pregnancy last month after much speculation – revealed that she decided to take the test without first telling fiance Eric Johnson.
“I did the pregnancy test. I was feeling a little off,” she recalled. “[I first told] Eric, of course. He was in the house. He didn’t know that I was taking a pregnancy test, so I kind of shocked him. I came in shaking like, ‘Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! This is happening!’ We both cried. We were in shock and kind of just sat there and stared at each other.”

Jessica and the former NFL player, 32, will welcome their new addition to the family in 2012.

“I am having a spring baby,” she told Billy.

The happy couple announced their engagement in November 2010. Previously, they said they hope to wed by Christmas 2011, but Jessica told Billy they now plan to push their nuptials back.

“We were going to throw something together, but I’d rather put more time in it and be able to really enjoy the day,” she continued. “When you’re pregnant, your hormones go crazy. I don’t want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla! So, I’ll wait until after.”

The singer/fashion mogul and upcoming star of NBC’s “Fashion Star,” said her days of being in front of a camera 24 hours a day appear to be behind her.

“Letting everybody in on every detail of your life, that’s a hard thing to do,” the singer explained. “I feel like, for me, those days are over, but I can always be who I am on camera… I’ll always be myself.”

Jessica Simpson: My Baby Bump Is "Bigger Than My Boobs"

Jessica Simpson is famous for dressing her curvaceous figure, and now that she's pregnant, she has a new asset to show off: her ever-growing baby bump!

The 31-year-old Fashion Star mentor tweeted a picture of herself Tuesday showing off her mommy-to-be figure. "I LOVE my new Cavalli dress!" she wrote as she modeled the floral purple number with a plunging neckline. "My belly is officially bigger than my boobs… Well, kinda. Ha."

Simpson has never been shy about discussing her ample chest. In September, The Sun claimed she was "fed up with her DD breasts," and Eric Johnson's fiancee quickly shot down the rumors that she was getting a breast reduction.
"Not to worry. I love my boobies!" she tweeted. "They're not going anywhere."

Her father, Joe Simpson, infamously referenced his daughters curves in 2004. "Jessica never tried to be sexy. She just is sexy," he told GQ magazine. "If you put her in a t-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up."PHOTOS: Celebrity bra sizes revealed

The reality star agrees. She told Us Weekly in April, "There's kind of no way to not show cleavage when it comes to me unless I'm wearing a turtleneck."

Baby by Christmas?

Jessica Simpson’s husband-to-be Eric Johnson didn’t know what to get the billionaire beauty for X-mas so he gave her the one thing she doesn’t already have: A baby!

Jessica sealed the news this week after stepping out in Manhattan yesterday wearing a skin-tight shirt that showed off her perfectly round baby bump. The photos, which can be seen below, prove just how far along the singer/actress is and, according to experts, she could be welcoming her bundle of joy by Christmas!

“She looks to be 26 weeks, which is around six months,” a Boston-based gynaecologist told RadarOnline. “It’s definitely a pregnancy and not weight gain. You can tell by the shape of her abdomen, her belly wouldn’t be that rounded if it was just fat.”
Looks like there’s no hiding it anymore Jess. The question is, when will she actually admit it?

The truth is, by that time, no one will care!

Are you finally convinced that Jess is pregnant?

Jessica Simpson Tweets From …

This week, however, Simpson’s followers were treated to some TMI from the singer-now-shoe-designer when she tweeted from the toilet. Simpson posted a photo from the bathroom at Bergdof Goodman of herself sitting on the john, her feet dangling above the floor, with the caption, “Short girl problems.”

First off, if you’re shopping at Bergdof Goodman, chances are you don’t have many problems. Second, if your legs are too short to touch the floor, ostensibly your arms are too short to photograph the rest of you from this angle — so who, pray tell, took this picture? Third, you’re in a public however high end restroom and you design killer stilletos. Where in the name of all that are your shoes?
Fourth — and this is just a reminder to everyone – big, tall, short or small, girls don’t poop. Just throwing that out there.

Height has nothing to do with this. Aside from being barefoot in a public bathroom (gross!), Simpson’s biggest problem is that she’s short on discretion.

Is Jessica Simpson Pregnant?

Jessica Simpson fuelled speculation that she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson when she postponed their November 11 wedding, and refused to drink champagne during a birthday toast.

The Dukes Of Hazard beauty recently cancelled her wedding with sources claiming she didn’t want to be a “plus size bride”. Despite a rigorous exercise regime with celeb fitness expert Tracey Anderson, Jess has failed to lose weight for her big day with insiders claiming the star’s piling on the pounds because she’s expecting!

A source said, “She’s already having kooky cravings! The baby is due in the spring (2012). [She’s] doing little to dispel the pregnancy rumours that have been swirling for the last few weeks.”

Adding, “She’s seven weeks along, and you should expect the announcement within the next couple of weeks. She could wait longer, but she wants to avoid the criticisms about her fluctuating weight. She thinks it’ll be good for people to know that she has a baby on board.”

Insisting the wedding has been postponed a source said, “Both she and her partner are very happy. They’ll be getting married after the baby is born.”

Jessica Simpson Might Be Pregnant

Nick Lachey might’ve gotten remarried first, but if the rumors and “reports” are true, then Jessica Simpson beat her ex to something else: Multiple outlets say that the singer and one-time Newlyweds star might be expecting her first child.

But take this announcement with a grain of salt, since it’s coming from In Touch Weekly and not a more reputable source like People. They say that at fiancé Eric Johnson‘s 32nd birthday party recently, Jessica sent back her glass of champagne. From there, we jump to a source saying she’s already having “kooky cravings,” especially (this triggers our gag reflexes) nacho chips dipped in chocolate.

Celebitchy points to a recent blind item from Blind Gossip, posted a little over a week ago, that definitely seems to fit:
This female star has certainly had her ups and downs. Her career has gone up and down and has expanded over more than one creative medium. She has dated at least three or four famous guys, has been married to and divorced from another celebrity, and is a tabloid staple. Depending on who you talk to and which day it is, she is either gorgeous or ugly. Well, we know one thing for sure: she is pregnant! She is seven weeks along, and you should expect the announcement within the next couple of weeks. She could wait longer, but she wants to avoid the criticisms about her fluctuating weight. She thinks it will be good for people to know that she “has a baby on board, rather than a burrito on board.” Both she and her partner are very happy about the pregnancy. Oh, and they will be getting married, although the wedding will now happen after the baby is born.

The detail that most fits is “depending on the day, she’s either gorgeous or ugly”: Jess has certainly had a tough time of it in the media, getting constant criticism for her mom jeans and her fluctuating weight.

This would seem to explain the rumors that Jessica was getting cold feet and the wedding would be pushed off indefinitely, though In Touch says that she and Eric will get hitched before the baby arrives in the spring. Oh, and remember what I said about People? Celebuzz reports that the magazine is coming out with a “special pregnancy announcement” in the next few weeks. So we’ll hunker down and wait for a big announcement over Twitter or in the mag, and in the meantime scrutinize pics of Jessica like the one above.

Jessica Simpson 'postpones wedding'

Jessica Simpson has reportedly postponed her wedding.

The 30-year-old singer turned fashion mogul is said to be undecided as to what kind of big day she wants to have with fiance Eric Johnson.

The couple got engaged over 10 months ago but Us Weekly has claimed that all plans for the nuptials have been put on hold.

"Everything is up in the air," an insider told the publication. "She can't figure out what kind of day she wants."

"Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home."

But friends close to the star, who has built a billion dollar empire with her clothing and accessories line, say that it is more than deciding on the venue that is delaying the wedding.
"She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she's gone dark," a pal said. "She won't commit to a date."

Although Simpson got engaged within days of her ex-husband Nick Lachey, while he got remarried in July to Vanessa Minnillo, Simpson still apparently has cold feet.

There have also been numerous reports that the Dukes of Hazzard star is expecting her first child but she has not confirmed these recent claims.

Jessica Simpson is the elephant in the room

The TV host-and-model admitted their relationship is under huge attention because of Lachey's previous spouse, but said that she hopes the paparazzi will spare them and let them enjoy married life in peace.

"It's funny to me that the paparazzi care, because I'd like to think that Nick and I are somewhat boring. But they care," Contactmusic quoted her as saying on TLC reality special 'Nick and Vanessa's Dream Wedding'.

While talking about Simpson, who is engaged to Eric Johnson, she said that she thinks her husband's ex-missus would pray as much as she does to keep prying eyes away from their personal life.

"I think that she would probably pray as much as I do that they allow us to have our own moments," Minnillo stated while referring to Simpson as "the elephant in the room".

The couple tied the knot in front of just 35 friends and family in a private Caribbean ceremony on Necker Island earlier this month.

Jessica Simpson ‘Is Not Pregnant’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

A less-than-flattering paparazzi photo of Jessica Simpson sparked rumors of a possible bun in the oven for the singer/fashion mogul last week, but a source close to the star says not to get out the baby name book just yet.

“She is not pregnant,” the source told Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

While Jessica may not be expecting a child, the 31-year-old is treasuring every moment of her engagement to former NFL player Eric Johnson, who she began dating in May 2010.

“It’s the best year of my life,” the star told Access of being Eric’s fiancée in May at Tom Everhart’s “Peanuts”-themed new art exhibit, “Crashing the Party: The Arty-Fact Paintings,” in New York City.

“You better say the same!” Jessica joked with Eric, who was by her side at the event.

“Ditto, ditto!” Eric quickly added.

Jessica Simpson Looking Seriously Pregnant ?

Jessica Simpson was forced to deny rumors that she was pregnant last month due to her clingy clothes showing that seemed to have put on plenty of weight.

Jessica’s ex husband, Nick Lachey, married Vanessa Minnillo in a island ceremony last month. Jessica never recovered from being dumped by Lachey and that could be what is fueling both her marriage plans and a possible pregnancy – she needs to catch up.

Today an extra-curvy Jessica opted for a loose-fitting number on an outing in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old was spotted leaving a photoshoot wearing a sequined gold mini-dress with a deep V-cut, over-sized sunglasses and chunky nude heels.
The star stayed in the studio for three hours before fiancé Eric Johnson came to collect her. As well as juggling her billion-dollar fashion and accessories empire, Jessica is also in the throes of planning her wedding day and if she is pregnant she’ll want to day to come soon.

While she recently said she admired the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress, she has no intention of being a copy Kate. ‘I absolutely adore Kate’s dress, I thought she looked absolutely beautiful, there’s no bride that can top a Royal Wedding,’ she told Access Hollywood.

Jessica added: ‘I’m not going to be wearing the same kind of thing, but it will be beautiful in it’s own right.’ She and Eric intend to be married by Christmas this year

Jessica Simpson, Toby Maguire & Leonardo DiCaprio: The Works of Danny Musico

“I honestly think Manny Pacquiao is the best pound for pound fighter that we have now in the last couple of years. I even think he is the best fighter even better than Floyd Mayweather, JR.” – Danny Musico

In 1992, Danny had earned a spot for the Olympic boxing team but three months before his first boxing match, he was in a car accident that left him severely injured. Danny had to undergo hip and knee surgery. At first it was not known if he would be able to compete again. He was able to recover and go on to turn pro.

Currently a trainer and actor: the list of stars that Danny has helped to get into shape includes Jessica Simpson, Toby Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio etc. Danny has appeared in Third Watch, Joan of Arcadia, Law & Order: SVU and Entourage to name a few.

Danny has also developed an App called “Danny Musico Celebrity Fitness App” that helps people reach their goals of getting in shape. The app can be found at this link and it is only $1.99.
Danny is a friend to boxing and MMA and talks to RSR about his app, boxing, MMA and fitness…

MA: With summer being here your celebrity fitness app must be a great tool…

Absolutely, if they are looking to get in shape the app is going help them out. That’s for sure.

MA: It has a journal and nutrition advice from you, correct?

Yes, the journal is actually really good. It will help you to keep your goals; you can log in your weight loss and keep it right on the app.

MA: The average person says, stars can get in such great shape because that’s their job compared to the average person. Are people making excuses?

That is definitely an excuse. Celebrities don’t have it any easier when it comes to picking up the weights as the everyday person does. They still have to pick up the weights to get the job done. Being that they are a celebrity, it may allow them a little more free time to work out or get ready for a project. It may give them a little bit more motivation because they are getting paid to perform that job, but, in the fitness world, if you want to get into shape, you have to do the work. The celebrities…they have to work at it.

MA: Life after boxing…do you watch any MMA?

I do watch a lot of the UFC. One of my assistant trainers is actually an MMA fighter himself. We get together and we watch all of them.

MA: Any favorite fighter?

Yeah, I am a Matt Hughes fan and obviously Georges St. Pierre. Chuck Liddell, Couture, the Gracies who started here, the Shamrocks. Those are all guys I look up to. They spent years and years to get it on the map. Now they are at the end of their careers, it’s a shame it took that long to get this big. And now they can’t compete in the sport that much anymore. .. I am big fan of them and friendly with a lot of them.

MA: You have said in the past the Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter of our generation. In a fictional fight between Amir Khan and Manny, who do you think would take it?

I would have to give it to Manny Pacquiao. I honestly think Manny Pacquiao is the best pound for pound fighter that we have now in the last couple of years. I even think he is the best fighter even better than Mayweather. I think Mayweather not fighting Manny is a shame. I think it will be even if they do fight in the future but it lost a little bit of its luster with how long it has taken for them to fight. When you are a champion or a great fighter you want to fight the best. You want to go away knowing that you fought everybody that there was there to fight. Manny Pacquiao has been willing several times now. Not only is he an outstanding person and a gentleman and fun to be around but he is a hell of a fighter, He has a really big heart and I think against Khan I still will give it to Pacquiao. Khan might be a little bit bigger and may be a little bit stronger but I will give the experience and the knowledge and speed to Manny.

MA: Is everyone trainable to get in shape or are there certain exceptions?

Well, I think everybody is capable of being “trained” and help better their situation. I think there are certain cases where people have limited fitness ability: they may have injuries; they may have certain things that may stop them from doing certain exercises. But, you can always better yourself no matter the situation.

I have a client who is quadriplegic. She is in her wheelchair and she has minimal use of any of her limbs and I work her out. She works out 3 days a week; moving her head back and forth, side to side, front and back to strengthen her neck. Moving her arms back and forth to get her heart rate up to keep her heart in condition, just like a make shift shady boxing exercise. I hold it above her heart where she is hitting it like a speed bag and that helps her heart to be conditioned. So, if you are a quadriplegic with limited use of any limbs and are willing to work out 3 days a week there is no excuse for anybody.

MA: That is very inspiring.

She is the first one to tell you how much she enjoys working out. I could get some quotes from her. I could hook you two guys up. But, three days a week and she loves it.

MA: Soccer fan as well. Any favorite teams?

Manchester United fan and obviously I am a Galaxy fan. Coming from an Italian family and growing up in New Jersey, soccer was actually a pretty big sport back in the day. I grew up in the era of the Cosmos.

MA: Final Words to RSR readers?

If you can’t work out with me the app is the next best thing. If you follow what I am telling you, it will help you do things right, it will help you get more use of your time and get you into better shape. And there will be future additions of my app.

I don't have a wedding dress: Jessica Simpson

Singer-actress Jessica Simpson, who is all set to marry Eric Johnson, says she still does not have a wedding dress.

"I've heard people throw around dates and not one of them has nailed it. Not even close. I don't have a dress yet," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

"The dress is going to be amazing. With a wedding, it should be a celebration like we should all be having fun, every single person there," she added.

Simpson was earlier married to Nick Lachey, but they divorced after three years. After that Jessica dated musician John Mayer and footballer Tony Romo.

Jessica Simpson curvy, but not pregnant

Jessica Simpson may be known for her curves, but this time, they’re not working in her favour. Just days after Nick Lachey's wedding to Vanessa Minnillo, the busty blonde has managed to steal the spotlight from her ex-husband.

Simpson was photographed heading into a business meeting last Friday in Beverly Hills wearing a form-fitting bronze dress and sporting a possible baby bump (or perhaps just a cheeseburger she ate for lunch.)

In the time it takes to say “chicken or tuna?” the Interwebs was abuzz with rumours that Simpson was expecting. (It didn’t help that the photo agency that released the snaps included the caption "Jessica Simpson Looking Very Pregnant.")
Her rep was quick to shoot down the rumours, telling Hollywoodlife.com, “This photo agency is full of malarkey. She is not pregnant.”

Simpson has more on her plate than shooting down rumours and avoiding bad camera angles. She’s currently planning a wedding to boyfriend Eric Johnson and has joined the new NBC reality TV series Fashion Star as a celebrity mentor.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Make 100 Hottest Couples List

Even while everyone pretends to not give two craps about Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's romance, the allure of their coupledom can't escape you! We know your secret. Besides her booming fashion line, neither seems to be doing much in the way of career moves, but they are still seen as hot, in love, and popular, and that's enough to put them at #59 on Zimbio.com's 100 Hottest Couples List.

This is Zimbio.com's third annual list of the 100 Hottest Celebrity Couples. Each year couples are scored in four categories: popularity, success, attractiveness and staying power. Jessica Simpson Sets a Wedding Date
Jessica Simpson has set a wedding date! And as far as we know, it's not a few days after ex hubby Nick Lachey's vows. (Fiance Eric Johnson infamously popped the question just a week after Lachey and bride-to-be Vanessa Minnillo got engaged.)

She told Us Weekly at the mag's Hot Hollywood party on Tuesday: "I'm still trying to figure out what to wear! I don't know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful. I kind of have a couple ideas in my head, and I have a date; I'm really excited!"

Yeah, kind of a teaser that she didn't reveal the golden date and went on about her bod, but sounds like she's not going to fixate on a slim-down plan like most Hollywood brides. Her strategy? Not much.
"I just have to work out on my own. There is no regimen I need to follow. There's no diet I need to follow. I just need to do some things for myself and that's it. And that will make me feel the happiest."

The star -- who became a fashion mogul this year, admitted exercise just isn't fun and that to lose some weight she's just gonna dance around the bedroom. Yeah, that's what they all say.

Simpson ruled out 'Broadway' appearance

Singer Jessica Simpson has ruled out ever appearing in a "Broadway" show as she has to struggle to adapt to the routine of theater regimen.
Simpson's younger sister, Ashlee, made her debut in hit musical Chicago in London's West End, 2006, followed a stint on Broadway. But 30-year-old believes that she won't follow her sibling's footsteps.

"I wouldn't do Broadway because I like to always switch it up, I can't stay in a regimen," dailystar.co.uk quoted Simpson as saying.

Jessica Simpson Hints At A Wedding Date

It seems that the wedding plans for Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, former football player Eric Johnson, are moving along nicely. Sure, right now the world is obsessed with that other wedding (we're looking at you, Wills and Kate), but once that wraps up we can all focus on other nuptials.

That is, once Jessica gets her plans in order.
"We're along! How far along? We're along," she told MTV News at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style issue party Tuesday night in L.A.

As far as the dress is concerned, Simpson, who happens to be clothing designer, said, "No! I haven't picked out the dress. That's stressful for me. Like it has to be seasonal, so I have to really figure out the date and I kind of have so now it's full force, full force wedding dress mode. Kate, you wish!"

Speaking of the royal wedding, what would Ms. Simpson get the happy couple for their nuptials? "The wedding gown I would have!" she declared. (BTW, while we're not sure what that means, we're sure she meant it in the sweetest possible way.)

Jessica has been dishing on wedding plans to everyone, particularly the particulars of what her wedding dress might look like. She told Us, "I'm still trying to figure out what to wear! I don't know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful. I kind of have a couple ideas in my head, and I have a date; I'm really excited!"

As for the color, she recently confessed to People that, "I do like the romantic feel of a lighter color." Adding, "I like my collar bone. I have a long neck, so I like to show off my décolletage."

Simpson plans date to tie the knot

Jessica Simpson has set a date for her wedding.

The singer and actress, 30, who got engaged to American football player Eric Johnson in November, said she will be dancing around her bedroom to "hopefully lose some weight" for the big day.
She told Us Weekly: "I'm still trying to figure out what to wear! I don't know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful. I kind of have a couple of ideas in my head, and I have a date; I'm really excited!"

She said she wouldn't be dieting in the run-up to the wedding, adding: "No exercise is fun! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight - and lift some weights and do what I can!"

Jessica, 30, who divorced Nick Lachey in 2006 and was linked with singer John Mayer, has previously said she and her fiance were in no rush to marry.

She said earlier this month: "We've both been married before. We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time."

Simpson loosing weight for wedding

Jessica Simpson Talks $750 Million Fashion Empire

Jessica Simpson recently revealed four fascinating facets of her personality on Twitter, but one major one was missing: Savvy Businesswoman. Thanks to the smashing success of her eponymous fashion line of shoes, dresses, jeans, swimsuits, outerwear, accessories, watches, and fragrances—whew!—the singer raked in a whopping $750 million last year.
Unlike some celebrity designers who simply lend their name to a label, Simpson is actively involved in the creative process. “I’m in the workroom in [L.A.’s] Westwood a few times a week from 11 to 7 at night,” she tells Us Weekly. “Nothing goes out without me seeing it or my mom [Tina Simpson, her co-creative director] seeing it.”

Their collaboration works, Simpson says, because they are both brutally honest with each other—even when it comes to their own wardrobe. “We keep everything extremely truthful,” explains the former reality star. “If I walked in wearing something she didn’t like, she would tell me. And I would tell her! Like, ‘What the hell are you wearing?’”

With her music and movie career on the back burner, Simpson is focusing on being a businesswoman and being in love with fiancé Eric Johnson. “It’s really helped the collection!” she says. Currently planning her wedding—where she intends to don a gown that shows off her décolletage—Simpson was recently spotted browsing boutiques in London and Paris but insists she wasn’t dress shopping for her big day.

Instead, she was “inspiration shopping for the collection,” she says. “I have the best job in the world!”

Jessica Simpson Rules Out Broadway

Singer/actress Jessica Simpson has ruled out ever appearing in a Broadway show because she would struggle to adapt to the routine of live theatre.
Simpson's younger sister, Ashlee, made her debut in hit musical Chicago in London's West End in 2006 and she followed it up with a stint on Broadway.

But the Irresistible hitmaker is adamant she won't be following in her sibling's footsteps - as she is put off by the lifestyle restrictions that come with a regular role on the stage.

She tells Fox News, "(I wouldn't do Broadway) because I like to always switch it up, I can't stay in a regimen."

Jessica Simpson has chivalrous partner

Singer-and-actress Jessica got engaged to former football star Eric last November, and last week it was revealed the pair have set a wedding date.

The lovebirds have been spending a peaceful break in Chicago, and were spotted at trendy eatery Hub 51 with a group of 15 pals. Despite being part of a large group, the pair were said to only have eyes for one another, and onlookers were particularly impressed by Eric’s chivalrous behaviour.
"Eric even carried Jessica's designer bag while she was getting up to leave the table," a spy told People.

According to sources the pair indulged in a variety of tasty treats including spicy tuna rolls, chicken enchiladas and lemon icebox pie, and stole kisses in between mouthfuls.

Eric and Jessica sampled French cuisine the night before as they dined with pals at swanky venue Paris Club. It is believed the pair and their pals enjoyed delicacies such as goat cheese au gratin and coq au vin during a three-hour meal.

Jessica Simpson Picks Popicles Over Broadway

In a recent interview with Fox411, Jessica Simpson revealed that her next great endeavor will be to launch a popsicle line. Simpson revealed: "A line of popsicles! A popsicle would be really good right now."

She then went on to state the obvious, adding: "I wouldn't do Broadway because I like to always switch it up, I can't stay in a regimen, a line of popsicles would be a lot easier."

Jessica Simpson sings for First Lady Michelle Obama

They may have a difference of political opinion, but Jessica Simpson and the First Lady Michelle Obama let music unite them last night. The two women smiled and shared a hug as Jessica took to the stage to sing God Bless America at a Rockies versus Mets baseball game held to entertain military families.
The 30-year-old pop singer, who supported George W. Bush's presidential campaign in 2004, was joined onstage by the Democratic First Lady, and Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden at Denver's Coors Field before the game.

Jessica is understood to have been hand-picked by President Barack Obama's wife, despite the apparent political divide.

Michelle and Jill also used last night's event to kick off their new Joining Forces initiative, which aspires to help soldiers and their loved ones deal with long separations.

The trio of women all wore trouser, top and jacket combinations for the chilly Colorado evening.

Before the show, Jessica tweeted that she was thrilled to be a part of the procession. It's such an honor to join First Lady Michelle Obama as she kicks off her new initiative in support of our military & their families,' she wrote.
Jessica has attracted controversy in the past for her political stances. The singer who endorsed George W. Bush for president in 2004, was later said to have snubbed him by cancelling an appearance at a 2006 Republican fundraiser in Washington, D.C.

But her manager father Joe Simpson leaped to her defence, saying that even though he and Jessica are 'big supporters' of the president, who had invited them, they felt it was inappropriate to attend a political fundraiser.

Meanwhile, Jessica is fast becoming more well-known for her clothing empire than her musical talents. She has unwittingly become a mega brand in the fashion world with her empire projected to make history this year by becoming the first every celebrity fashion line earn one billion dollars in annual sales.

Her clothing line raked in an astonishing $750 million dollars in sales last year, making it the top selling celebrity clothing empire.
That would put her in the same league as American fashion titans Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein,

Vera Wang and Donna Karan so her presence at fashion week is not unwarranted.

She told New York magazine: 'I never thought I'd be some fashion mogul'. When asked why her brand is so successful, she replied: 'When it comes to other celebrity brands, I think a lot of people do a great job, but it can't be all about them.

'Everybody doesn't want to just look like the celebrity, because they can't. They just want one element of that style.'

She also told the magazine she plans to launch new ready-to-wear and career separates lines. The former reality star is now inspiring other television celebrities like Jersey Shore's Snookie who says she wants to be just like Jessica.

'What I'd like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson', Snookie said. 'She makes millions. I'm trying to build an empire, because after this I can't get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?'

Jessica is currently engaged to former NFL football player Eric Johnson. The singer was previously married to Nick Lachey for just under four years with the couple divorcing in 2006.
