Jessica Simpson looks like she's ready to pop her bundle of joy any day!

The 31-year-old is expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, but word is, Jessica is opting out of a natural birth and is scheduled to have a Caesarean section performed.

The entrepreneur was taking lessons to help prepare for natural birth, but called it quits after the class started reminding her of the three-day labor her sis Ashlee Simpson endured.An insider gives In Touch the deets saying:

"Jessica can't wait to become a mother, but she quickly decided that giving birth the old-fashioned way just wasn't for her. So she is planning a C-section in late April. She's already booked a $2800 suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA."

Three days of labor is understandably traumatic. The close source goes on to say:

"Jessica knows that what Ashlee went through to get Bronx was worth it, but wants to skip the pain."

The pop star turned fashionista was spotted yesterday with her soon-to-be hubby having a romantic dinner at Mastro's in Los Angeles and much like new mom Beyonce, Jessica is still rocking her sky-high stilettos, bulging belly bump and all!

Jessica Simpson Tweets About Her Savory and Salty Pregnancy Craving

Pregnancy has had two unavoidable effects on Jessica Simpson: she feels overly emotional and is craving super-salty things.

"Kraft mac and cheese with Lawry's seasoning salt is the breakfast for pregnant champions!!!" the 31-year-old star, who's expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, tweeted on Thursday.

Earlier this month, Simpson discussed her other crazy pregnancy cravings with on The Rachael Ray Show December 12. "This week it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted. And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich," she shared with Ray.The Fashion Star mentor also admitted her emotions are a bit more heightened than usual. "That's the one thing about pregnancy -- I'll cry at the drop of a hat," she said. "Even a great souffle would make me cry."

Jessica Simpson, the 31-year-old star - who is expecting a baby with fiance Eric Johnson - admitted she has been opting for calorific, salt-laden breakfast as her pregnancy moves forward.

Writing on her twitter page, she said: "Kraft mac and cheese with Lawry's seasoning salt is the breakfast for pregnant champions!!! (sic)"

Jessica has previously claimed toasted "peanut butter and jelly sandwiches" have been tickling her tastebuds.She explained: "This week it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted. And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich."

However, the singer-and-actress recently admitted one of the down sides of pregnancy is that she has been crying "at the drop of a hat".

Jessica said: "That's the one thing about pregnancy - I'll cry at the drop of a hat. Even a great souffle would make me cry.

"I felt the baby move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears. It was the coolest thing ever. It did a flip or something. I was like, 'There it went. It's there. It's really there'." (c) BANG
