The 31-year-old is expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson, but word is, Jessica is opting out of a natural birth and is scheduled to have a Caesarean section performed.
The entrepreneur was taking lessons to help prepare for natural birth, but called it quits after the class started reminding her of the three-day labor her sis Ashlee Simpson endured.
"Jessica can't wait to become a mother, but she quickly decided that giving birth the old-fashioned way just wasn't for her. So she is planning a C-section in late April. She's already booked a $2800 suite at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA."
Three days of labor is understandably traumatic. The close source goes on to say:
